'Dreamliner' regulations relaxed

Regulations requiring twin-engine aircraft like the B777 or new B787 ‘Dreamliner' to fly within three hours' diversion time of alternate airports, subject to meeting certain operational requirements, have been relaxed. This will enable modern equipment to fly direct routes over the North Pole, opening up non-stop access to new destinations.

Transaero Airlines
