History and Operations: TMA is the only Lebanese all-cargo carrier based at Beirut Int´l Airport and has operated for more than 50 years. TMA was the first all-cargo carrier to establish a round-the-world service in both directions (eastbound and westbound). Its current activities include scheduled services covering the whole of Europe, the Middle East, Africa and the Far East; charter activities including non-scheduled and special flights; lease operations with major ACMI lessees including Arab, European and African airlines. Handling and storage facilities are offered to all major cargo airlines operating to BIA and maintenance facilities are offered in the regional maintenance centre at BIA.
